Hundreds of shoppers will hit Greenwich Avenue and nearby downtown streets for the annual four-day Sidewalk Sale Days.
Billed as the largest sidewalk sales event in Connecticut, according to the event's organizer, Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, come ready to find bargains galore among 120 retailers, restaurants and businesses.
The Sale Days and hours are Thursday, July 11, Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Man on Jet Ski Rescued From Merrick Bay Marsh On Big Crow Island
A man on a jet ski was rescued from Merrick Bay.
Marine rescuers responded at 8:46 p.m. to the bay for a jet skier in distress on Wednesday night, July 10., according to Nassau County Police.
Marine Bureau, Aviation Bureau, U.S. Coast Guard, and 7th precinct officers, along with multiple fire departments, searched the bay, police said.
The Nassau Heli 5 helicopter located the man in the marsh on Big Crow Island, according to police.

Social media helped police identify a woman who allegedly stole a purse with cash from Baskin-Robbins in New Canaan.
The alleged theft, which was caught on surveillance camera, occurred on Friday, July 5 in the afternoon hours while the victim was at the shop and left her pocketbook inside the ice cream store, according to New Canaan Police.

A 45-year-old man drove off in his sports utility vehicle and hasn't been seen since, and authorities are asking the public for help in locating him.
Thomas Kelsey, 45, of Barbara Drive in Centereach, went missing on Sunday, July 7 at 10 p.m. at Venetian Shores Park, 850 Venetian Blvd. in Lindenhurst, Suffolk County Police said.
