Joseph Bardelli, 48, Of Stamford, Worked At Bank Of America, 'Loved Life' Joseph M. Bardelli of Stamford who worked at Bank of America died at his home on Wednesday, July 10 at age 48. He was a graduate of Westhill High school Class of 1989. After high school, he pursued a voice recording career. He worked at Bank of America. Bardelli "walked his own path and along the way, he opened up his heart to everyone. To know Joe, you then understand how strong-willed, detailed minded and courageous he was. Car Window Smashed, Mailboxes Damaged In Wilton Vandalism Spree Wilton was hit with a vandalism spree that left mailboxes damaged and car windows smashed. The North part of Wilton has experienced nine separate incidents of vandalism from Thursday, July 4 to Monday, July 9, causing damage of over $2,000, according to Wilton Police. Medford Woman Driving Drunk With Child In Car Flees East Northport Crash Scene, Police Say A Medford woman drove drunk with her son in the car during a hit-and-run crash in East Northport, according to Suffolk County Police. Susan Striplin was driving a 2007 GMC Yukon SUV southbound on Daly Road Monday, July 15 when she reportedly sideswiped a 2013 Mercedes Benz Sprinter van at approximately 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of Phyllis Drive in East Northport, police said. Norwalk Man Attacks Co-Worker At Auto Dealership In Wilton, Police A Norwalk has been arrested for attacking a coworker at an auto dealership in Wilton, according to the Wilton Police Department. On Thursday, July 11 at around 4:24 p.m., police were called to Bruce Bennett Nissan at 962 Danbury Road for a report of an assault, according to the Wilton Police Department. One Injured In Weston Crash A driver was injured in a car crash in Weston over the weekend, according to the Weston Volunteer Fire Department. The fire department and Weston Volunteer EMS responded to a single-car crash Sunday, July 14 on Weston Road near Woodhill Road, the department said. The car's sole occupant was brought to Norwalk Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Weston Volunteer Fire Department. There was damage to a pole so Eversource was notified, said the department.

Man Steals Credit Cards, Makes Purchases While Working In Wilton, Police Say A man who was working in Wilton is accused of stealing credit cards and then making purchases with them. Last October, a victim reported that a wallet had been stolen from their a while working at a residence on Chessor Lane, said the report. A police investigation revealed that the victim's credit cards were later fraudulently used at several merchants in the North Haven and Meriden, according to police. Seven Thrown Into Water After Drunk Boater Crashes In Great South Bay, Police Say One person was injured as seven people were thrown into the water of the Great South Bay after a crash involving a drunk boater, police said. Javier Torres was operating a 19-foot center console Key West boat at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, July 14 south of Bay Shore Marina when a pump malfunctioned and the vessel began taking on water, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
