James Lenehan, 70, Poughkeepsie Resident
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – James Lenehan, of Poughkeepsie, died Monday, Jan. 18 in Staatsburg, N.Y. He was 70.
He was born Sept. 30, 1945, in Poughkeepsie, to the late Irene Rossi and William Lenehan. He received a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and was self-employed with Avon for eight years. On Sept. 5, 1986, he married Marlene Kriegsman in Wappingers Falls. They were married for 29 years.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene; son, Joseph Lenehan; siblings William Lenehan and Kathleen Lenehan Smith; nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and “Smitty” and “Piper.”

GLEN ROCK, N.J. – Charles A. Sheridan, of Glen Rock, died Friday, Jan. 22. He was 84.
He was born June 8, 1931, in the Bronx, N.Y., to Charles and Elizabeth (McCarthy) Sheridan. Upon graduation from Power Memorial High School in 1949, he enlisted and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, where he achieved the rank of staff sergeant and received numerous accommodations.
He married Dorothy (Goff) Jan. 3, 1953. They relocated from the Bronx in 1970 to raise their six children in Glen Rock.

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. – Helen J. Przebieglec (Koschak), of North Arlington, died Sunday, Jan. 24 at Hackensack University Medical Center. She was 85.
Born in Scranton, Pa., she lived in North Arlington since 1950. She was an inspector for the R.C.A. Corporation in Harrison for 26 years before she retired in 1972.

NORWALK, Conn. – Nettie Shipman, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, died Wednesday, Jan. 20. She was 84.
Born in Stamford on Jan. 31, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William and Rhea (Gartenberg) Urmann. She was a graduate of Stamford High School in Stamford and NYU Stern School of Business in 1952. After graduation, she worked as a legal secretary in Manhattan and then, after marriage, moved to Morristown, New Jersey, where she was an administrative assistant for Combustion Engineering. BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Colletta B. Lee, of Fairfield, wife of the late Henry E. Lee, died Saturday, Jan. 23 at Cambridge Manor, Fairfield. She was 92.
Lee was born in Bridgeport and was a Fairfield resident for over 15 years. She worked as a hostess for many years at the former Three Door Restaurant, and was a commissioner on the Fairfield Housing Authority board of commissioners.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Rudolph P. Marcy, of Stamford, died Thursday, Jan. 21 at Stamford Hospital. He was 90.
He was born in Stamford on June 29, 1925, to the late John and Fannie Rinaldi Marcy. He owned two service stations in Stamford and worked as an auto mechanic for most of his life until his retirement in 1988. He loved spending time with his family, was an avid baseball fan and always enjoyed a good western movie. He was a member of Teamster Local 191 and the NRA.
