Marion J. Seils, 84, Poughkeepsie Resident
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Marion J. Seils, of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, Jan. 23, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 84.
She was born in the Bronx, on Dec. 21, 1931, to Richard and Madeline Elliott D'Luhosch.
She was a 1949 graduate of Arlington High School. She had been a local resident for most of her life and was a resident of Kiawah Island, S.C. She was also a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Lagrangeville.
She married Robert Seils Sr. on April 21, 2002, in Poughkeepsie.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Naomi S. Goldberg, of the City of Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 83.
She was born May 4, 1932, in Poughkeepsie, to Louis and Elizabeth Fine Satz. She attended the University of Michigan.
She married Paul H. Goldberg on Jan. 6, 1952, in Poughkeepsie. For close to 50 years, they owned The House Of Cards which was established in 1957 in Poughkeepsie. They retired in 2007. She was a longtime member of the City of Poughkeepsie Planning Board.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Ida Arruzza, a Stamford resident, died Sunday, Jan. 24. She was 84.
Born on March 2, 1931, in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Umberto Nocella and Antoinetta Pimpenella.
She is survived by her husband, Vincenzo Arruzza; her sons, Joseph Arruzza (Mina) and Riccardo Arruzza; one brother, John Nocella; and grandchildren Amy M. Arruzza, Nicholas R. Arruzza and Jasmine N. Arruzza.

NORWALK, Conn. – Charles F. Presser, formerly of Norwalk, died Wednesday, Jan. 13 in Bay Pines VA Hospice in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He was 70.
A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 7 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Philips Day Chapel, 25 France St., Norwalk. A reception will follow from 3-5 p.m.

Born in Livingston, he spent his formative years in Athens, Greece.

His career led him to the cutting edge of industrial ceramic applications for non-corrosive conduits, and he attained several patents in the field. NORWALK, Conn. – Alfred George Ward, of Hampstead, N.C., died Thursday, Jan. 21 after a battle with lung cancer. He was 78.
He was born May 3, 1937, in New York City, to Irish immigrants Alfred and Johanna Ward. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, stationed at Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii.
