STAMFORD, Conn. – Ronald Martin Gross, of Stamford, died Sunday, Jan. 31. He was 82.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on Oct. 19, 1933. He was the son of Pearl Dolinsky Gross and Herman Gross. He spent his childhood in Lima, Ohio, where he graduated from Lima Central High School. He attended Ohio State University and earned a bachelor's degree in biology in 1955. After graduation, he worked at Battelle Memorial Institute decoding sensitive intelligence information for the U.S. government. He graduated from Harvard Business School in 1960.

Robert E. Hatch, 88, Fairfield Resident
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Noted historic restoration architect, Robert E. "Bob" Hatch, died Wednesday, Jan. 27 at The Carolton Center after an extended battle with MDS, a blood disorder. He was 88.
He was born in Bridgeport in May 1927, to Elwin Lloyd Hatch and Eloise Hynes Hatch. When he was 4, his mother died and for several years he lived with his godparents, Michael and Anna Hackett, until his father married Caroline Beebe. He was soon joined by two sisters, Marion Hatch Spiller and Elaine Hatch Smith, and four brothers, William, Herbert, George and Edward.

Anna Korchman, 78, Fairfield Resident
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Anna P. Korchman, of Fairfield, wife of Harry Korchman, died Saturday, Jan. 30 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was 78.
Born in Bridgeport to the late John and Irene Prion, she graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School with honors and worked as a bookkeeper for several restaurants. She was a great bowler and participated on the Amateur Bowling Tour. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed Bingo and going to the casinos.

Donna Bender, 63, Fairfield Resident
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Donna Jane Bender of Fairfield, the wife of Ken Bender, died Thursday, Jan. 28, in St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was 63.
She was born in Asheboro, N.C., and had been a Fairfield area resident for 45 years. A graduate of Katherine Gibbs College in Manhattan and Staples High School in Westport, she worked at various retailers and The Fairfield Store, and as computer support technician for the Fairfield Public School System at Stratfield Elementary School, and more recently at Roger Ludlowe Middle School.

Dolores Laureti, 81, Croton-On-Hudson Resident
CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Dolores Surak Laureti, of Croton-on-Hudson, died Tuesday, Jan. 26. She was 81.
She was born Nov. 3, 1934, to Michael and Mary (Mikulak) Surak in Peekskill. She was co-president of the Auxiliary of Hudson Valley Hospital Center as well as a chaplain. She volunteered and was a Eucharistic minister at St. Christopher's Church in Buchanan. She also managed the White Elephant Thrift Store.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Andrew and Nicole Laureti, as well as her grandchildren Vincent and Cassandra Laureti.
