Richard J. Di Crosta, 69, Elmwood Park Resident
ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. – Richard J. Di Crosta, of Elmwood Park and formerly of Lodi, died Monday, Feb. 22. He was 69.
He was the former owner of Bug Out in Elmwood Park and a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Habrouck Heights for many years.
He was the father of William of Englewood, Rosalye Di Crosta of Jonas, Pa., and Florence Di Crosta of Elmwood Park; grandfather of Leah Castiglia, William Di Crosta and Alex Di Crosta; and brother of the late Diane Bucaro.

Concetta Bevilacqua, 90, Garfield Resident
GARFIELD, N.J. – Concetta Bevilacqua (Ferraro), of Garfield, died Sunday, Feb. 21. She was 90.
Born and raised in Paterson for 20 years, she moved to Garfield 70 years ago.
She was a switchboard operator for 25 years with Bendix Corporation in Teterboro and retired in 1975. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Of Mount Virgin Church.
She is survived by three children, Louis Jr. and his wife, Diane, Elise Anello and Bruce and his wife, Connie; six grandchildren, Lindsey, Erica, Michael, Nicole, Brian and Krista; and nine great-grandchildren.

Anthony Sclafani, 83, Garfield Resident
GARFIELD, N.J. – Anthony "Nino" Sclafani, of Garfield, died Monday, Feb. 22. He was 83.
He was born in Bolognetta, Sicily, to Filippo and Cira Sclafani. He lived there until 1963, when he immigrated to the U.S. and settled in Garfield.
He served 50 years as the treasurer of the St. Anthony Society in Garfield.
He worked at Marcal Paper in Elmwood Park for four years, then was as a machine operator 30 years in the textile industry for Applique Co. in Passaic and Missbrenner Prints in Clifton. He retired in 1997.

YONKERS, N.Y. – Ellen Halpin (Hegarty) of Yonkers died Friday, Feb. 19, while vacationing in New Jersey with her husband. She was 72.
She was born to Patrick and Elizabeth Hegarty in the Bronx on Dec. 24, 1943. She was a respected and longtime employee of the literacy program at Lehman College. She enjoyed her Irish heritage, music, dancing and spending time with family and friends.

Sabino Bilotta, 95, Pelham Manor Resident
PELHAM MANOR, N.Y. – Sabino Bilotta, of Pelham Manor, formerly of Andretta, Italy, died Sunday, Feb. 21. He was 95.
He was a husband and father. He was predeceased by his wife, Caterina, and is survived by his son, Joseph Bilotta.
A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 4-8 p.m. at Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 559 Pelham Manor Road, Pelham.

Josephine Dastoli, 88, Stamford Resident
STAMFORD, Conn. – Josephine "Dolly" Dastoli, of Stamford, died Saturday, Feb. 20 at Brighton Gardens. She was 88.
She was born in Stamford on Sept. 30, 1927, to the late Joseph and Teresa DiPietro Truglia. She was the office manager for her family's business, Dasco Rod Company, in Stamford, for 20 years before retiring. She also loved to cook for her family and friends.
