BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Sharon E. Goodwin Kowall, of Bridgeport, died Saturday, Jan. 23. She was 56.
She was born Sept. 22, 1959, to the late Lois and Wilfred Goodwin of Huntington. She was a 1978 alumnus of Shelton High School. She moved to Bridgeport after her marriage to the late Ronald F. Kowall, where the two raised their daughter, Angel. She was an avid reader and nurtured her dogs and cats throughout her life.

Iver Roy Smith Sr., 71, Stamford Resident
STAMFORD, Conn. – Iver Roy Smith Sr., known as “Zun,” died Sunday, Feb. 14 at Stamford Hospital. He was 71.
He was born on March 10, 1944, to parents Mabel Johnson and Albert Smith, in Jamaica. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1979, where he held positions in construction and worked for the Stamford Advocate. His longest tenured stay was with the Pan America Security Company where he spent 14 years as well as Laidlaw Transit, then First Student where he worked for more than 30 years.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Marian W. Wilkinson, of Stamford, died Saturday, Feb. 20 at Stamford Hospital. She was 81.
She was born Aug. 6, 1934, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, daughter of the late William and Sadie Myers McCord. She was married to James Foster Wilkinson of Stamford. She was a nurturing and dedicated childcare provider for many years.
