Morton Pincks, 86, Yonkers Resident
YONKERS, N.Y. – Morton (Morty) Pincks, a lifelong resident of Yonkers, died Sunday, Feb. 21. He was 86.
He was born March 7, 1929, in Yonkers, to Stanley and Dorothy (Sternbach) Pincks.
He received his bachelor's degree from Alfred University and upon graduation went to work for Olivetti Underwood.
In his retirement, he worked in Sternbach Furs, the family business. He was also deeply involved in Temple Emanu-El in Yonkers and in Scarsdale Synagogue Temples Tremont and Emanu-El. He also volunteered for many years at JCY Westchester Community Partners.
He is survived by cousins.

STAMFORD, Conn. – David L. Roberts, a former Stamford firefighter, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, after a battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was 79.
He was born to the late Leonard (Bert) and Alice Oestmann Roberts in Stamford. He married Nancy Giancola in July 1960 in Stamford.
He was a graduate of Stamford High School, class of 1954. After graduation, he entered the Navy, where he began his career as a naval photographer. FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Margaret (Herb) Terry, of Fairfield, wife of the late John F. Terry, died Sunday, Feb. 7 at the Wicke Health Care Center in Shelton. She was 79.
A longtime resident of Fairfield, she was a graduate of the Academy of Our Lady of Mercy, Lauralton Hall, and spent her career as an administrative assistant at the Warnaco Company in Bridgeport.
She is survived by cousins Dawn Albrecht, Christine Ericksson, Laura Paules, Carl Eriksson and many lifelong friends.

NEW CANAAN, Conn. – Lifelong New Canaan resident Mary G. Curcio died Saturday, Feb. 20. She was 102.
She was born Nov. 15, 1913, to Mr. and Mrs. Sam Grallo (Grace). After matriculating through the New Canaan school system, she met August O. "Augie" Curcio of Cos Cob through a blind date arranged by her sister. They married and had two sons. Following her husband's untimely passing in 1960, she worked as a seamstress before opening La Petite Shop, a store for young women, downtown. STAMFORD, Conn. – Vincent V. “Vinnie” Ricciardi, of Stamford, died Sunday, Jan. 24. He was 63.
He was born to Rose Curto Ricciardi and Victor Ricciardi in Stamford on Sept 2, 1952.
He was raised in Stamford, attended public schools and graduated from Rippowam High School in 1970, and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. He was a fixture in Stamford. FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Marion R. Klinga Soltis, wife of the late John J. Soltis, died Saturday, Feb. 20 at the Jewish Home in Fairfield. She was 87.
Born in Bridgeport on December 17, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Steven and Pauline Tokh Klinga. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and was an avid gardener. She found great pleasure in spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially at holiday time.
