Norwalk Knights Of Columbus Celebrates Family At Communion Breakfast
NORWALK, Conn. – The Knights of Columbus St. Matthew Council 14360 held its third annual Communion Breakfast on Sunday, June 6, at St. Matthew Church in Norwalk.
After a 9 a.m. Mass, more than 175 people gathered in the Masterpool Great Room to enjoy fellowship and food for the body, mind and spirit through a stirring talk from featured guest, the Rev. Father Reggie Norman.

Elizabeth DeSousa, 90, Fair Lawn Resident
FAIR LAWN, N.J. – Elizabeth (Velthaus) DeSousa, of Fair Lawn, died Monday, June 13. She was 90.
Born and raised in the Bronx, N.Y., she resided in Fair Lawn for 58 years. She was a parishioner of St. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Fair Lawn, where she was a member of the Rosary Society. She also was a member of the Fair Lawn Live Wires. She enjoyed reading gardening, embroidery and spending time with family and friends.

Calvin E. Koch, 90, North Bergen Resident
NORTH BERGEN, N.J. – Calvin E. Koch, of North Bergen, died Sunday, June 12. He was 90.
He was born in Jersey City. He received his bachelor’s degree from New York University's College of Commerce, Accounts and Finance. He graduated cum laude and was awarded the Beta Gamma Sigma Gold Key. He then received a master’s degree in education.
During World War II, he served three and a half years overseas with the 35th C.B. (Special Operations) 20th U.S. Navy Construction Regiment and received the American Theater, the Victory, Asiatic-Pacific Medals and two letters of commendation.

PARK RIDGE, N.J. – Catherine V. (Boyle) Lee, a resident of Lake Ariel, Pa., and a former resident of Park Ridge and Bayonne, died unexpectedly Friday, June 10. She was 82.
She was born Feb. 24, 1934. She was retired as president and CEO of Jack Lee Associates, and previously worked at Montgomery Ward, Westinghouse, the Montvale Board of Education, KVL Systems and Sony Corp. She was a lifelong philanthropist who donated to children’s funds, to her home parishes and to organizations that promulgated the Roman Catholic Faith.
