Volunteers Convene To Clear West Milford Trail Saturday WEST MILFORD, N.J. – The Friends of Wallisch Homestead are seeking volunteers to assist with trail clearing Saturday at 8 a.m. Volunteers are needed to clear the weeds to get the trails ready for hiking and bird watching. Friends of Wallisch Homestead will also explore the south acreage of the site and the possibility of new trails. The clearing crew will work behind the marking crew to open the trails. The sold-out Platinum Ball was attended by almost 300 guests who raised the record-breaking amount for the organization.
