Daly, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut. Wyckoff Kids Learn Water Safety With 'Longfellow The Whale' WYCKOFF, N.J. – Parents and their children recently gathered at the Wyckoff Family Y to learn about water safety with Longfellow the Whale. The American Red Cross created Longfellow’s Whale Tales to help teachers and youth leaders educate children about safe behavior in, on and around the water. The free program featured fun and animated videos, colorful posters, stickers, activity worksheets, illustrated fact sheets and completion certificates.
