Patterson Man Faces Felony Charge After Lying About Burglary, Police Say
PATTERSON, N.Y. – A Patterson man faces several charges after he was accused of lying to police about a break-in at his Patterson Village Court apartment Wednesday, according to New York State Police.
Nicolas Dename, 36, was charged with first-degree falsifying business records, a felony, and third-degree falsely reporting an incident, after he called 911 and reported that cash and prescription medications were stolen from his home by two men, police say.

Mahopac Man Charged With Stealing From Macy's
YORKTOWN, N.Y. – A Mahopac man was charged Wednesday with stealing merchandise from a Macy's store in Yorktown, where he works, reports the Yorktown Police Department.
Anthony R. Primavera, 38, is charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, after loss prevention personnel from the store, located at 700 Lee Blvd., called police to report that Primavera allegedly stole merchandise valued at $109, which was hidden in a Macy's bag, according to police.
Primavera is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Thursday, Feb. 4, officials say.
