Sister Honora Lucilla Felix, 81, Of Maryknoll Sisters In Ossining
OSSINING, N.Y. – Sister Honora Lucilla Felix, an educator in Guatemala and Panama, died Wednesday, Jan. 6 at Phelps Memorial Hospital, Sleepy Hollow. She was 81.
Born Nov. 7, 1934, in Worcester, Mass., she graduated from Attleboro High School in 1952 and Trinity College, Washington, D.C., in 1956 with a bachelor’s degree in history, specializing in government. Sister Honora entered the Maryknoll Congregation from St. John the Evangelist Parish, Attleboro, Mass. Sept. 2, 1956, and was given the religious name Sister Christiana Maria. Rudolf Lazinger, 69, Fairfield Resident
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Rudolf "Rudy" Lazinger of Fairfield, formerly of Easton, died Wednesday, Jan. 6. He was 69.
He was born in a displaced persons camp in Feldafing, Germany. His parents, Nathan and Fanny Lazinger, were Holocaust survivors. He came to Bridgeport with his parents in 1948, and attended Elias Howe Elementary School, Bassick High School and Norwalk Community College.
He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve for many years.
He operated a family-owned business, Nathan's Men's Shop. He later operated Nathan's Pawn Shop with his late wife, Claire.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Richard J. Sommers, 71, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, Jan. 6.
Born Sept. 28, 1944, in Bridgeport, he was the son of Joseph and Helen Sommers. He grew up and was educated in Fairfield, graduating with an associate's degree from the Connecticut School of Electronics.
During the first half of his career, he applied his extensive knowledge of electronics, chemistry and physics toward advancements in the field of optics.
