Joseph F. Gibbs, 82, Beacon Resident BEACON, N.Y. – Joseph F. Gibbs, of Beacon, died Sunday, Jan. 17, at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital. He was 82. He was born on Nov. 20, 1933, in New York City, to the late Bernard and Margaret O’Reilly Gibbs.  He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran serving his country during the Korean War. He married Marjorie, “Bunny,” on July 18, 1959. He and Bunny moved to Glenham in 1971 to raise their family. He worked for UPS for 31 years and retired in 1986. A husband, father and friend, he was born in Stamford March 23, 1930, to Henry and Mary Kowalik Kaminski.
