Brother Frederick Louis Frick, 89, New Rochelle Resident
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Brother Frederick Louis Frick, of New Rochelle and a member of the Christian Brothers, died Friday, Jan. 29. He was 89.
He was born May 4, 1926, in Butte, Mont., to Frederick Louis Sr. and Anne Florence Ginther Frick. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he graduated from the College University of San Francisco where he earned his bachelor’s degree.
He entered the Christian Brothers congregation on June 29, 1948, and took his final vows on Sept. 8, 1956.

Maria DeJesus Gualdino, 93, Former Yonkers Resident
YONKERS, N.Y. – Maria DeJesus Gualdino, formerly of Yonkers, died Thursday, Jan. 28 in Leiria, Portugal. She was 93.
She was born in Corredoura, Portugal, on April 22, 1922. She grew up in Portugal and in 1966, she moved to the U.S. and settled in Yonkers. For many years, she worked at a local factory, and later for the Hudson View Nursing Home in Yonkers. She loved to cook and was famous for her colorful knitted blankets.

Ronald George Paul, 52, Peekskill Resident
PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Ronald George Paul, of Peekskill, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, at New York Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital. He was 52.
He was born on Sept. 3, 1963, in Astoria to Ron and Maureen Paul.
He was a member of International Alliance Theatrical Stage Employees, IATSE Local 52 for 35 years and Sarasota Florida Local 412 for 20 years.
He was a member of the Elks, Knights of Columbus and the Girl Scouts -- operation cookie drop was one of his favorite events. He was a die-hard Rangers, Giants and Yankees fan.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Marie Boccamazzo DiGhello, of Fairfield, wife of the late Ronald DiGhello, died Tuesday, Feb. 2. She was 81.
Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield Center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday directly at St. Ann Church, Brewster St., Bridgeport, with entombment to follow in St. Michael's Cemetery Garden Mausoleum.
Harry Bethea, 55, Stamford Resident
STAMFORD, Conn. – Harry Wayne Bethea, of Stamford, died Saturday, Jan. 30. He was 55.
He was born Aug. 19, 1960, in Stamford, the son of Evelyn Dudley Bethea of Stamford and the late Joshua Bethea. He was employed with NAC Re Corporation for a number of years.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Dudley Bethea; three sisters, Inez Bethea Williams, Lora Bethea James (Monroe) and Angela Bethea; brother Ronald Bethea; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his brother John (Bebone) Bethea.

NORWALK, Conn. – Betty Joyce Grey, of Norwalk, died Sunday, Jan. 31 after a short illness. She was 77.
She was the wife of the late Nelson Howard Grey.
Born July 27, 1938, in Belfast, Maine to the late Everett A. and Lorraine Carter, she was raised in Rockland, Maine, where she attended local schools.
At the age of 18, she and her husband relocated to Norwalk. She was employed at Lavender Laundry in Norwalk for many years and was a cook for clergy at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Norwalk, where she was a parishioner.
