Clarence Baker, 82, Bridgeport Resident BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Clarence G. Baker, of Bridgeport, died Friday, Jan. 29, he was 82. He was born in George's Valley, Manchester, Jamaica, to the late Charles Baker and Agatha Forbes. He was a resident of Bridgeport for the last 40 years. He was a retired supervisor from Warnaco with 35 years of service. Ridgefield Library Director Chris Nolan Retiring RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – After a 16-year career at the Ridgefield Library, Director Chris Nolan will retire at the end of this year, reports the Ridgefield Press. Nolan, who won the Ridgefield Rotary Citizen of the Year award for 2015, was an important figure in the expansion of the library from 2012-14, the Press said.
