DUMONT, N.J. – Oscar Jose, of Dumont, died Monday, Feb. 8. He was 85.
He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to the late Miguel and Catalina Benvenuto and was employed as an electrician at AT&T of Parsippany.
He was the husband of Judith Perez Benvenuto; father of Shanie Perez-Paul and her husband, John, Michelle Lemmonds and Oscar Jose Benvenuto Jr. and his wife, Carmen; grandfather of Amanda, Michael, Robert, Emily, Kayleigh, Danielle, Jessica, Bianca, Sofia and Lorenzo; and great-grandfather of Byron and Xavier.

NORTH BERGEN, N.J. – Vasiliki Golematis (Boros), of North Bergen, died Monday, Feb. 8. He was 88.
Vasiliki was born Feb. 4, 1928, in Greece, and came to the United States in 1966. Before retiring, she had worked at Clairmont Manufacturing in Jersey City.
She was the wife to George Golematis; mother to Maria Pentarakis and her husband, Nicholas; and grandmother to Eftihi Pentarakis.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. – Margaret “Peggy” A. Haase (Boyle), of Fair Lawn, died Sunday, Feb. 7. She was 74.
Born in Paterson and raised in Fair Lawn, she resided in Ringwood for 25 years before returning to Fair Lawn. She was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Saddle Brook. She enjoyed reading and traveling. Prior to retiring, she was a bookkeeper with Urology Medical in Midland Park for 25 years.

She was born in the Bronx, N.Y., to the late Regina (Noel) and Dennis Dugan and was partner and owner of G. Gloede & Associates in Oak Ridge.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, George Gloede; daughter Megan James and her husband, Michael; grandchildren Elizabeth, Claire, Charlotte and Georgina; and sisters-in-law Arlene and Debbie.
