Frank 'Butch' Tritto, 73, Bridgeport Resident
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Frank "Butch" Joseph Tritto of Bridgeport died Monday, Feb. 8, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport. He was 73.
Born in Tarrytown, N.Y., on Sept. 4, 1942, he was a son of the late Frank and Ann Calabro Tritto. He worked as a supervisor for Sargent & Co., where he retired after 20 years of service. He was a master gardener whose specialty was growing plants. He loved saltwater fishing and took enjoyment in cooking for family and friends. He also had a desire for traveling, especially on cruises with his wife, Cheryl Lampone Tritto.

NORWALK, Conn. – Robert Butryn of Norwalk, formerly of Yonkers, husband of the late Anna (Ward) Butryn, died Wednesday, Feb.10, at Autumn Lake Healthcare. He was 81.
Born in Schenectady, N.Y., he was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and loved fishing.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – George P. Bradley, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, Feb. 9 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He was 67.
Born in Anderson, South Carolina, to Pauline Bradley Hill and the late James Hill, he had been a resident of Bridgeport for the past 65 years. He was a retiree of General Electric with more than 30 years of service. He was a former member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

LYNDHURST, N.J. – Francisco "Paco" Chaves, of Lyndhurst, died Wednesday, Feb. 10. He was 68.
Chaves was born in Spain and came to the United States in 1972. He was a longshoreman and a member of ILA Local 1235.

LODI, N.J. – Albert W. Ziegler, a resident of Lodi for 10 years and formerly of Palisades Park, died Wednesday, Feb. 10. He was 88.
He retired from Industrial Devices Inc. in Hackensack, where he worked as an industrial engineer.
He was the husband of the late Marie (Rinaldi) Ziegler; father of Gail Poling and her husband, Steve, Mark Ziegler and his wife, Sylvia, Lynn Ziegler and her husband, Walter Lewis, and Dawn Roberts and her husband, Gregg; grandfather of Matthew, Michael, Austin, Brielle, Cierra, Alyssia and Nicole; and brother of Bertha Ziegler.

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Frances Marie Travis, a lifelong Peekskill and Cortlandt resident, died Wednesday, Feb. 10. She was 87.
She was born in Peekskill on July 13, 1928, the daughter of Bryan and Frances M. Davies Lounsbury. On March 17, 1973, she married Charles M. Travis at the Peekskill Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed knitting and doll collecting and was a former member of the Civil Air Patrol, a former Girl Scout Leader and a member of Daughters of America. She was also a member of the Peekskill Presbyterian Church.

Jean E. Reidy, 96, Of Somers
SOMERS, N.Y. – Jean E. Reidy, of Somers, died Monday, Feb. 8. She was 96.
She was born and raised in Manhattan College and is a graduate of Hunter College. She earned her master’s degree in English literature from Columbia University, class of 1940. She went on to teach for nearly 40 years in the Katonah and Somers school systems, including 22 years as the librarian at Somers Primrose Elementary. She dedicated her life to children and reading.
