POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Mary Reynolds of Poughkeepsie died Monday, March 14, at Renaissance Rehab and Nursing Center. She was 79.
She was born Nov. 5, 1936, in Poughkeepsie to the late Stephan and Elizabeth Turzik.
She is survived by her children, Michele Kane, Thomas Kane Jr., Marie Kane, Michael Kane and George Kane; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Walter Gerhart Frank, a longtime Poughkeepsie resident, died Saturday, March 12, at home in Spring, Texas.
He graduated from Arlington High School in 1947 and received an associate degree from Sampson College in Hobart in 1949, before he returned to Poughkeepsie to work at Frank Brothers Farms as a dairy farmer and cattle dealer. Until his retirement in 1987 to Sarasota, Fla., and then to Spring, Texas, to be near his children, he co-owned and operated Frank Brothers Farms with the other members of the Frank family for many years. WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. – Donald E. Gruendle, of Wappingers Falls, died Thursday, March 17, at Wingate at Dutchess in Fishkill. He was 89.
He was born Oct. 29, 1926, in Beacon to Edward and Jennie Schmidt Gruendle, .
He served in the Seabees during World War II.
He married the former Mary Scofield on Oct. 13, 1951.
He worked for IBM and retired in 1991 as a graphic artist and technical illustrator.

MILLBROOK, N.Y. – Julia Mary Aceste of Millbrook, a former longtime resident of Douglaston, Queens, died Tuesday, March 15. She was 93.
Born in Brooklyn on April 25, 1922, she was the daughter of John and Mary Setera Rabowski. She worked as a seamstress at Pauline's in Roslyn. She married Vincent Aceste, and they were married for 73 years.

BERGENFIELD, N.J. – Ottavio Martin Bertolini, formerly of Dumont, died Monday, March 14 at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, N.Y.. He was 96.
He was born in Weaver, W.Va., to Carola (Bertolli) and Antonio Bertolini. Later, his family moved to the Bronx. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Pacific Theater as a medic during World War II. He saw action at the Battle of Luzon and other islands in the South Pacific.
