Alyce C. Mulcahy, 82, Stamford Resident
STAMFORD, Conn. – Alyce C. Mulcahy, of Stamford, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, died Friday, March 11. She was 82.
She is survived by her brother, Donald Hickey, and his wife, Angela; her children, John Mulcahy and his wife, Karen, of California; Perter Mulcahy and his wife, Shalimar, of Texas, and Alyssa LoPiano and her husband, Frank, of Stamford; grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Jack, and Heather LoPiano, Lauren, Brooke, and Natalie Mulcahy, and Patrick and Shane Mulcahy.
She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Jack Mulcahy.

NORWALK, Conn. – Edna C. Hoag, of Norwalk, formerly of Wappingers Falls, New York, died Monday, March 14 at Norwalk Hospital. She was 96.
Born Jan. 14, 1920, in Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Henrietta Kramer Christensen. She was the widow of the late Randolph F. Hoag, who predeceased her Nov. 29, 1989. She was a former Docent for Boscobel, Garrison, New York. She was a longtime volunteer at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie, New York, and a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Norwalk, as well as Zion Episcopal Church, Wappingers Falls.

WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. – Barbara A. Armond, of Wappingers Falls, died Sunday, March 13. She was 70.
She was born May 11, 1945, in Denham Springs, La., the daughter of Clifton Armond and Lula Smith. She graduated from Denham Springs High School in 1963. She resided locally since 1963, and was employed as a caregiver at Cardinal Hayes Home in Millbrook. She retired in 2010. She enjoyed tag sales.
She is survived by best friend and partner, Anthony Nenni, of Wappingers Falls; a brother, Ernest Armond; sisters, Edith Gath and Patsy Sims Wallner; and several nieces and nephews.

PAWLING, N.Y. – Gwyneth Daniels Berkeley, of Pawling, died Monday, March 14 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Conn. She was 79.
Born Sept. 23, 1936, in Pawling, to Gwendolyn Thomas Daniels and Charles Ross Daniels, she spent her life growing up and raising her family in Pawling. Except for a few short periods, Pawling was her home and the place she loved most. On Nov. 23, 1957, she was married to William Taylor Berkeley at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Pawling. Louis Anthony Suozzo, 88, Fishkill Resident
FISHKILL, N.Y. – Louis Anthony Suozzo, of Fishkill, formerly of the Bronx, died Friday, March 11, at Wingate at Dutchess. He was 88.
He was born Jan. 21, 1928, to Bartholomew and Rose Suozzo.
He married Lucille Carr in 1951.
For many years, he worked at General Foods as head of data processing in White Plains. After an early retirement, he took up his passion of running. He completed 21 New York City Marathons. One of his proudest moments was being an extra in the Paul Newman movie "Nobody’s Fool."

RHINEBECK, N.Y. – Joan Ann Marvin, of Rhinebeck, died Monday, March 14 in Rhinebeck. She was 85.
She was born July 28, 1930, in Brooklyn, to Joseph and Katherine Ethel (Wylie) Fitzpatrick. She was a graduate of Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, Pa. She married Robert J. Marvin, Sr. on Oct. 2, 1954.
She was a member of the Good Shepherd Church in Rhinebeck.
In addition to working in her husband's law office, she volunteered for several charitable organizations including Northern Dutchess Hospital and Northern Dutchess Caregivers. Most of all, she took great joy in her family.

PALISADES, N.Y. – Walter Arnold Finck, of Palisades, died Monday, March 14. He was 95.
He was born in Jersey City, N.J., and spent most of his life in Grand View and Palisades.
He attended Tappan Zee High School and Walter Harvey College.
He worked for New York Life insurance Company before enlisting in the Army during World War II. Most of his career was spent as administrator of Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, in Palisades. He was an active member in the Palisades Presbyterian Church, serving many years as treasurer.
He married Elizabeth Ann Fox in 1944.

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. – Robert J. Burns, of Hasbrouck Heights and formerly of Jersey City, died Monday, March 14. He was 89.
He was born in March 17, 1926, in Jersey City, to the late Helen and John Henry Burns. He was a graduate of Seton Hall University, where he received his bachelor’s degree. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served from 1945-47 in the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of the James B. Scarr American Legion Post 106 in Hasbrouck Heights.

SADDLE RIVER, N.J. – Dr. Paul Alan Prior, a Saddle River resident, died Sunday, March 13. He was 90.
Born Nov. 5, 1925, in St. Albans, Vt., he attended high school and played basketball and baseball for St. Mary’s.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army following graduation and served in the infantry at Fort McClellan, Ala. He was commissioned as a lieutenant in the armored corps. He was assigned to the South Pacific Theater as an armored officer. He was a company commander in the World War II occupation Army in Tokyo with the 1st Cavalry Division.
