Elizabeth F. Kopser-Perreault, 94, Poughkeepsie Resident
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Elizabeth F. "Betty" Kopser-Perreault of Poughkeepsie died Monday, March 21. She was 94.
Born in Albany on March 6, 1922, she was a lifetime area resident. She was the daughter of the late John H. and Gertrude Foy Flinn. She attended Oakwood Friends School, Guilford College and Marist College, where she received her master's degree. She worked as an accountant for the Hudson River Psychiatric Center and retired in 1988.
She was married to Joseph L. Kopser, who predeceased her on May 1, 1988. She then married Adrian Perreault on June 19, 1993, at Holy Trinity …
Emanuel D. Kessler, 96, Former Peekskill Resident
PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Emanuel D. Kessler of the Bronx, formerly of Peekskill, died Friday, March 25. He was 96.
He was born Dec. 24, 1919, in Peekskill.
Services will be held Sunday, March 27, at 10:45 a.m. at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State St., Spring Valley, with Rabbi Dana Bogatz officiating.
Interment will follow at the First Hebrew Congregations of Peekskill Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
Robert D. Banks, 72, Former Poughkeepsie Resident
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Robert D. Banks of Apex, N.C., formerly of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, March 19, after a two-year battle with cancer. He was 72.
He was born March 13, 1944, in Bud, W.Va. He retired from IBM in Poughkeepsie after 30 years of service. His passions were classic cars, football, OTB, motorcycles, music and dancing.

Janet Marie MacMillan, 70, Former Mahopac Resident
MAHOPAC, N.Y. – Janet Marie MacMillan, daughter of Helen Zimmer and William Hanig, died Wednesday, March 23, at the CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville, N.C., after an 11-year struggle with cancer. She was 70.
She lived in Asheville with her husband, Robert MacMillan. She was born March 10, 1946, in Long Branch, N.J. She grew up in Queens and was a graduate of Richmond Hill High School and St. John’s University, where she received her degree in teaching.
