Marie Di Buono, 89, Harrison Resident
HARRISON, N.Y. – Marie Di Buono, of Harrison, died Monday, March 28. She was 89.
She was a daughter of Joseph and Nancy Ginis.
She was an active member of the Harrison community and worked for 35 years as a baker in the Harrison School system. She retired in 1998.
She was a member of the Harrison seniors, the Harrison Columbiettes and St. Gregory the Great Parish.
She was the wife of the late Tony; mother to Anthony Jr. (Felicia), Rosemary Costa (Robert Sr.) and Jo Ann Sarlo (Buddy); grandmother of Christina, David, Robert Jr., NanciJo, Stefani and Bryan; and 12 great-grandchildren. …
Ronald J. Filardo, 69, Scarsdale
SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Ronald J. Filardo, of Scarsdale, died Sunday, March 27. He was 69.
He was the son of Prospero and Antoinette Filardo. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1968-1972.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Filardo; their children, Theresa Jahn (Jesse), Anthony Filardo (Maria) and Christopher Filardo; his sister, Mary Codispoti (Lawrence); brother, Peter Filardo; and three granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes in Scarsdale.

Francis Fandel, 83, Yonkers Resident
YONKERS, N.Y. – Francis William Fandel, of Yonkers, died Saturday, March 26. He was 83.
He was born Feb. 13, 1933, in Yonkers, to Frank and Lilly (Williams) Fandel.
He was married on May 3, 1958 to Barbara (Tunnard) Fandel.
Prior to his retirement from Steamfitters Local 543 (21), he served his country in the U.S. Army as a military policeman stationed in Korea. His hobbies included landscaping, gardening, plumbing and heating, of which he was a subject matter expert in all three.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Peter D. Minck, of White Plains, died Sunday, March 27. He was 61.
He was born in Callicoon to Catherine L. (Muller) and Edward A. Minck on Nov. 14, 1954.
He is survived by his brother, Thomas J. Minck, of White Plains; and an aunt, Helen G. Minck.
He was predeceased by his brothers William E. and Robert J. Minck.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home Inc., 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains, with a service on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Ballard Dorsee, 86, Norwalk Resident
NORWALK, Conn. – The Rev. Ballard Dorsee, son of Edmund and Alice Dorsee, died Monday, March 28. He was 86.
He was an Episcopal priest and served as rector of St. James in Hartford, Grace Church in Norwalk and most recently Church of the Good Shepherd in Shelton.
He is survived by his wife Roberta; children, Thomas, Mollie, Jennie and Aimee; siblings, Jack and Jill; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Bonnie; and grandson, David. He also leaves his dog, Luke.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Jeffrey Leon Donoso, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died Saturday, March 26. He was 34.
He was born Oct. 22, 1981, one of the three children of Margott Donoso and the late Leon Donoso. He was born and raised in Stamford and graduated from Westhill High School.
Donoso worked at Grade A ShopRite and Best Buy. He also dedicated his time to volunteering at the Meals On Wheels program. Born Nov. 1, 1944, in Bridgeport, he was a son of the late Joseph and Julia Bruchansky Gensur.
A lifelong Bridgeport resident and U. S. Air Force veteran, he worked as a quality control supervisor at Walbro Automotive in Meriden. STAMFORD, Conn. – Joan Frances Barrenechea, formerly of Stamford, died Thursday, March 17. She was 90.
She was born in Stamford on Dec. 3, 1925, to James and Amelia (Cosgrove) Joss.
She was raised in Stamford and lived there until moving to Barefoot Bay, Fla., in 1988.
