MONROE, Conn. – A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 14 for Herbert Hanford Bottomley, of Monroe, who died Saturday, Feb. 27. He was 97.
He was born in Bridgeport on May 3, 1918, to Herbert and Jessie Bracken Bottomley.
He graduated from Central High School in 1935, and University of Connecticut in 1941, where he earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Following graduation, he enlisted in the Navy. DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Loretta DeLuca, a longtime resident of Dobbs Ferry, died Wednesday, March 30. She was 95.
Born and raised in Yonkers, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna Flood. She moved to Dobbs Ferry in 1955 and had been a resident for most of her adult life.
She is survived by her children, William Leo of Suffern, Susan Carforo of Pleasantville, and Ann Marie DeLuca of New Rochelle; her grandchildren, Kathleen Leo, Elizabeth Leo and Christine Carforo; and her great-grandson, Myles Jacob Genao.

SHELTON, Conn. – Jane M. Gaynor of Shelton died Tuesday, March 29. She was 86.
She was the wife of the late Dr. William P. Gaynor. She was born in Derby on Dec. 28, 1929, daughter of the late John and Teresa (Hill) McGrath, and was a lifelong Shelton resident. She established a career of volunteering at St. Margaret Mary Church and Bishop Wicke Health Center in Shelton, as well as various other local organizations.

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Marguerite Mary Keenan, a lifetime resident of Eastchester, died Friday, Jan. 29. She was 74.
She was born Aug. 26, 1941, to the late Elvera and John Keenan. She graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel, Loyola University with a degree in medical technology and St. John's University with a master's degree in medical technology. She worked at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville for 41 years, where she retired as blood bank supervisor in 2004.

WILTON, Conn. – Sister Francis Regis Carton, a member of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, died Tuesday, March 29, at Lourdes Health Care Center in Wilton. She was 93.
Mary Carton was born April 4, 1922, in New York City, to Myles and Anne Brendel Carton.
