Priscilla Schneeberg, 100, Former Ossining Resident OSSINING, N.Y. – Priscilla Schneeberg, formerly of Ossining, died Monday, March 7. She was 100. She was born Oct. 27, 1915, in Montello, Mass., to Lithuanian immigrants, her mother, Elzbieta and father, Jurgis. Along with brothers Alexius, George and Joseph, and sister, Olga, the Rachun family moved to Kent Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She single-handedly supported the family through the Depression with her candy store and bathtub alcohol speakeasy. He was the husband of the late Jean B. (Gerstenkorn) Klinkowize. He was born March 1, 1938, in Washingtonville, N.Y., the son of the late John and Helen (Solanka) Klinkowize. He graduated from Washingtonville High School and entered the U.S. Air Force after marrying his sweetheart, Jean. He was 88. He was born July 13, 1927, in Dobbs Ferry, to Arthur and Mathilda Blackmar and grew up in Hastings-on-Hudson. Upon graduating from Hastings High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served as a photographer until the end of World War II.
