George Stavros, 100, Georgia Stavros, 97, Fairfield Residents
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – George and Georgia Stavros, ages 100 and 97, died yesterday within 1 ½ hours of each other while receiving hospice care at home.
They were both born in Greece, in the village of Voutsara in the province of Arcadia, and married in 1946.
George was a World War II veteran who fought against the Nazi occupation and marched in the Albanian War. After the war, George and Georgia took over the duties of George's father including managing the family farms.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Inge Cseh, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson, died Friday, May 20. She was 83.
She was born June 16, 1932, in Austria, the daughter of the late Otto and Marianne (Egen) Hoseman.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bela Cseh, in 2012. They lived their lives together to the fullest for more than 40 years loving nature by hiking, swimming, skiing and traveling all over the world. They also shared a love for animals. TRUMBULL, Conn. – Edward M. Konopka, of Trumbull, husband of 44 years to Claudia Broccoli Konopka, died Saturday, May 21. He was 68.
Born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Stella Szurnitski Konopka and the late Edward F. Konopka. A resident of Trumbull since 1977, he was a salesman for Bell Simons for several years and an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed watching all sports and New York Teams, especially golf. His greatest love was his wife and family. He served in the Army and attained the rank of sergeant.

Edwin Comas, 100, Ridgefield Resident
RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Edwin Comas, of Ridgefield, husband of Rita (Winnis) Comas, died Saturday, May 21. He was 100.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5-7 p.m. in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Ridgefield.

PLEASANT VALLEY, N.Y. – Nancy M. Sessa, a lifelong resident of Pleasant Valley, died Friday, May 20. She was 74.
She was born Oct. 12, 1941, in Poughkeepsie, to the late John and Josephine Massarelli. On July 27, 1968, she married Jerry A. Sessa in Millbrook. He predeceased her Feb. 24, 2013.
