Wilton Library Welcomes Authors All Month Long In June
WILTON, Conn. – As the song goes, “June is bustin’ out all over,” and Wilton Library is “bustin’ out” seven authors, introducing everything from beach reads to bestsellers.

Judith Proietti, 74, Bedford Hills Resident
BEDFORD HILLS, N.Y. – Judith Diane (Saroken) Proietti, of Bedford Hills and Boynton Beach, Fla., died Sunday, May 29, at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco. She was 74.
She was born on Oct. 26, 1941, to Joseph and Ray Saroken.
She was the mother of Stacie (Mike) Heinke, Gregg Proietti and Jodi Proietti; sister of Gerald Saroken; aunt of Dana, Joseph, Brian, Rafi, Holly, Harlan and Andrea; and grandmother of Danielle, Chelsea and Michael Heinke.
Her husband of 42 years, Frank; died in 2006.

Richard B. Primps Jr., 67, Ossining Resident
OSSINING, N.Y. – Dr. Richard B. Primps Jr. of Ossining died Saturday, May 28. He was 67.
The son of Dick and Bette Primps, he was a graduate of Ossining High School, class of 1966. After graduating from Ossining, he received a bachelor's degree from Fairfield University, a master's degree from Columbia University, and a doctorate in child psychology from St. John's University. In the 1970s, he was a psychologist at Flower Hospital in Manhattan and in 1980s and '90s, he was a staff psychologist for the Yonkers Public Schools.

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – George J. Betz Jr., a lifelong resident of Port Chester, died Sunday, May 29. He was 88.
He was born April 15, 1928, in Port Chester, to the late George J. Betz Sr. and Hazle C. Betz. He was raised and educated in Port Chester and graduated from the Port Chester High School in 1945. He was a seaman in the Merchant Marine from 1945-55. He served two years in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged as a specialist third class AUS in June 1957.

YONKERS, N.Y. – Ann Sokol of Yonkers died Friday, May 27. She was 81.
Born Jan. 28, 1935, in Yonkers, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Helen Gorman Potter and sister of the late Charles Potter.
She retired from the payroll department of AT&T. She was active in the lives of her children and her community. The children attended St. Bartholomew's Catholic School. She and her husband, John, were active members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and St. John's Episcopal Church for many years. PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Ralph B. Cirulli, a resident of Port Chester, died Sunday, May 29. He was 93.
He was born in the small town of Schiavi D'Abruzzo, Italy, on May 13, 1923, to the late Pietro and Nicolina Porfilio Cirulli. He came to the U.S. at the age of 7. He had many talents, including drawing and music. He served in the U.S. military twice – once during World War II in the Army and again during the Korean War as a military band member at March Field Air Force Base in California.
