Sister Kathleen Skenyon, 92, Ossining Resident OSSINING, N.Y. – Sister Kathleen Skenyon died on Monday, May 30 at the Maryknoll Sisters Center in Ossining. She was 92. She had been a Maryknoll sister for 69 years. She was born on May 4, 1924, in Providence, R.I., to Mary Gallagher Skenyon and Patrick Skenyon.  She graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in Providence in 1941. She worked at the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company as an operator during which time she attended night courses at Providence College Extension School and Edgewood Secretarial School.
