MAYWOOD, N.J. – Judith E. (Pfister) D’ambrosio, of Maywood, died Friday, June 3. She was 66.
She was a teacher for the Visitation Academy Interparochial School in Paramus for 16 years.
She was the mother of Jes and Juliette D'Ambrosio; sister of Michael Pfister and his wife, Genette; aunt to Camille and Matthew Pfister. Also survived by her grand-cat, Radley.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. – Sidney G. Borduin, of Fair Lawn, died Friday, June 3. He was 97.
Born and raised in Prospect Park, he resided in Fair Lawn for 60 years. He served with the U.S. Navy as a helmsman on the U.S.S. Guam during World War II. He was a member of Fair Lawn P.B.A. Local #67 and Van Riper-Ellis-Broadway Baptist Church in Fair Lawn. An avid fisherman, who took pride in teaching his grandchildren to fish, he enjoyed his annual trip to Canada to fish for a month on the St. Lawrence River with his friend, Floyd Chambers. PASSAIC, N.J. – Tadeusz Puzio, of Passaic, died Thursday, June 2. He was 55.
Born in Poland, he emigrated to the United States in 1976, and settled in Passaic 40 years ago.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Wieslawa Puzio (Golebiewska); daughter, Monica Puzio; mother, Katarzyna Puzio; brother, Wojciech Puzio; sister, Maria Dziadosz; mother-in-law, Halina Golebiewska; sister-in-law Grazyna Zajac; niece and nephew Halina Zajac, Richard Zajac; and great-niece, Grace.
He was predeceased by his father, Stanislaw Puzio; and brother, Czeslaw Puzio.

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. – Eustace R. Roper, Jr., of Elmwood Park, died Wednesday, June 1. He was 91.
Born and raised in Jersey City, he had been a resident of Elmwood Park the past 66 years. He was the owner of Klinger Tire Co. in Jersey City for 25 years and retired in 1997. He was a World War II veteran on a destroyer in the U.S. Navy.

Trumbull Man Wins At Keno By Playing Unclaimed Powerball Numbers
TRUMBULL, Conn. – Where do your numbers come from? Strangely enough, James Zygmont of Trumbull got his winning Keno numbers directly from a lottery poster advertising an unclaimed $1 million Powerball prize from the Dec. 5, 2015, drawing.
“(The retailer) asked me if I wanted to play Keno, but I told him I’ve never played before. He said I should give it a try. So, I grabbed a Keno play slip, filled in the numbers 13, 27, 33, 47, 68, and added the Bonus Multiplier. 'Buyer & Cellar' Opens At Westport Country Playhouse
WESTPORT, Conn. – The original Off-Broadway production of the critically acclaimed comedy “Buyer & Cellar” will take the stage of Westport Country Playhouse from Tuesday, June 14, through Sunday, July 3.
Michael Urie, who won the Drama Desk, Clarence Derwent, Lucille Lortel and LA Drama Critics awards for originating the role of Alex More in the show, will reprise his performance at the playhouse. Owner Of Danbury Bail Bonds Firm Arrested On Felony Charges
DANBURY, Conn. – The owner of Moore Bail Bonds in Danbury was arrested early Thursday morning on felony charges of larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny, the Danbury Police Department reports.
Dameisha Moore, 39, of Golden Heights Road in Danbury and owner of Moore Bail Bonds, and Michael Baptiste, 40, of the same address, were stopped by Danbury police officers at approximately 6:35 a.m. on Padanaram Road. Officers knew both Moore and Baptiste had outstanding felony warrants for their arrest, according to police.
