HARTSDALE, N.Y. – George Jamgochian, of Greenburgh, died Thursday, June 16. He was 91.He was born Jan. 29, 1925, in Highland Park, Mich., to Mike and Ann Jamgochian, who were survivors of the Armenian Genocide. He grew up in Lincoln Park, Mich.
He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II from July 1943 to February 1946 and received the Philippine Liberation Medal with two stars, the Asiatic-Pacific Medal with three stars and the Victory Medal. OSSINING, N.Y. – Barbara R. Miller, a longtime resident of Ossining, died Friday, June 17 at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow. She was 79.
She was born May 3, 1937, in Yonkers, to Charles Ransom and Helen Trumpi Ransom.
She was educated in Mount Vernon and graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1953. On March 13, 1955, she married Herbert L. Miller at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Mount Vernon. SHELTON, Conn. – Lukasz Drozdz, of Shelton, died Sunday, June 19 at Yale-New Haven Hospital St. Raphael Campus. He was 29.
He was born in Kolbuszowa, Poland, on April 10, 1987, the son of Stanislaw and Janina (Wilk) Drozdz. He was an automotive and motorcycle enthusiast. He also enjoyed traveling, nature and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Marek, Pawel and Andrzej Drozdz; a sister, Agnieszka Drozdz; companion, Karolina Kleczkowski; and several nieces and nephews.

DANBURY, Conn. – Joseph P. Cann Jr., of Danbury, son of Joseph P. and Frances B. (Redden) Cann, died Saturday, June 18. He was 28.
He was born in Danbury and was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 2006. He enjoyed playing football for Viking Pop Warner and later at Danbury High School.
