He was 91.He was born Jan. 29, 1925, in Highland Park, Mich., to Mike and Ann Jamgochian, who were survivors of the Armenian Genocide. He grew up in Lincoln Park, Mich. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II from July 1943 to February 1946 and received the Philippine Liberation Medal with two stars, the Asiatic-Pacific Medal with three stars and the Victory Medal.
