Paul DiSabato, 58, Mount Vernon Resident
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Paul A. DiSabato, of Mount Vernon, died Saturday, June 18. He was 58.
He was born Dec. 31, 1957, to Anthony and Rosemarie (Carfano) DiSabato. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1975-81. He worked as truck driver and was a member of the Teamsters Local 456 for 23 years. He also was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his sister, Theresamarie, and Don Rines of Leland, N.C.; nieces and nephews, Don and Sara Rines of Middletown and Christine and John Fusco of Eden; and great-nieces and nephews, Richie, Anthony, Isabella, Paul, Peter, Gianna and Emily.

Felice J. Tavano, 99, Former Ossining Resident
OSSINING, N.Y. – Felice J. “Phil” Tavano, a former longtime resident of Ossining, died Thursday, June 16 in Coconut Creek, Fla. He was 99.
He was born Feb. 24, 1917, in Ossining, the son of the late Michael and Catherine (Minniti) Tavano. He was a graduate of Ossining High School's Class of 1935. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II and served throughout Europe. He worked for the U.S. Post Office in Ossining for 36 years and retired as a superintendent. He moved to Coconut Creek in 1994. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and dancing with his wife, Rose.

Arnaldo DeSanctis, 91, Yonkers Resident
YONKERS, N.Y. – Arnaldo DeSanctis, of Yonkers, died Saturday, June 18. He was 91.
He was born in Taglicozzo, Italy, to the late Antonio and Anna Iacomini DeSanctis. He was employed at General Motors for 36 years before his retirement. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Yonkers and a family man who enjoyed spending a lot of time with his grandchildren.
He was the husband of Rita DeSanctis, who survives him; father of Maria (Nunzio) Pietrosanti; grandfather of Nicholas, Daniel and Anthony; great-grandfather of Ella and Juliet; and brother of Paola Pinori.

FAIRVIEW, N.J. – George S. Krivy, of Fairview, died Thursday, June 16. He was 87.
He was a scallop cutter and the owner of George Krivy Embroidery Scallop Cutting Company in Fairview for 60 years. He was a pigeon breeder and flyer, a Cadet and member of the Knights of Columbus in Guttenberg.
