Dumont Kids Kick Off Summer With Cool Treats, Reading List DUMONT, N.J. – The Dumont Public Library is kicking off its summer reading program with a party from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the all-purpose room. Kids can begin their summer reading race and register the day of the party. Participants will enjoy a cool summer treat afterwards. No strollers allowed. Age groups include pre-K and kindergarten, first through fourth grades and fifth through eighth grades. The Dumont Public Library is at 180 Washington Ave.

Teens Cook Italian As Paramus Summer Camp Opens PARAMUS, N.J. – Teens are invited to learn to cook Italian cuisine at Chef Central Culinary Center’s Cooking Camp starting Monday, June 27.  The camp is hands-on series of weeklong cooking classes for teens ages 11-17. Week one of camp will cover regional Italian cuisine from Northern Italy, including the cooking of Veneto, Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and a variety of other Northern Italian regions.
