Eleanor Tantillo, 96, Belleville Resident
BELLEVILLE, N.J. – Eleanor Tantillo, of Belleville and formerly of Wallington, died Tuesday, April 26. She was 96.
Her family operated a tavern in Lodi called Tantillo's for almost 40 years.
She was the wife of the late John J. Tantillo; mother of John C. Tantillo and his partner, Linda Lynch, and the late Marjorie Koshko, and her son-in-law, Robert Koshko; sister of the late Marshal Berkenbush, Walter Berkenbush, Ruby Caldaro and Harriett Peete; grandmother of Keri Saggio, Craig Tantillo, Kathy Baez, Susan Radosti, Glen Koshko and Robert Koshko and 11 great-grandchildren.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Dorothy Elizabeth Still, of Poughkeepsie, died Monday, April 25 at the Wingate at Dutchess. She was 89.
A local resident all her life, she was born May 25, 1926 in Poughkeepsie, the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Dean. She was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School.
She married the late Stanley G. Still, former Town of Poughkeepsie superintendent of highways, June 29, 1946, at St. Mary's Church in Poughkeepsie. He predeceased her July 19, 1986.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Elizabeth S. Oakes, a lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie, died Monday, April 25 at The Pines at Poughkeepsie. She was 88.
She was born Aug. 13, 1927, in Poughkeepsie, to the late Myron and Frances Doyl. In 1947, she married Wilson Shultis. Then in 1952, she married Frederick Oakes. She was a control floor operator for IBM and retired in 1965. She was a member of the Christ Church Episcopal in Poughkeepsie.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Carl C. "Collie" Galasso Sr., of Stamford, died Monday, April 25. He was 98.
Born on April 3, 1918, he was the son of Angelo Galasso and Angelina Mancusi. He grew up and lived his entire life in Stamford.
He was married for 73 years to Mildred (D'Agostino) Galasso and together they had four children, Carl Galasso Jr. (deceased), Angela Galasso (Donald Hartman), Jacqueline Schonberg (Peter), and Lucy Galasso (Dr. Alan McCollom).

NEW MILFORD, N.J. – Francis B. Mooney, of New Milford, died Tuesday, April 26. He was 87.
A Korean War veteran and die hard New York Mets fan, he was born in New York City and lived there until he and his late wife, Mary Ann (Schoenfeld), settled in New Milford in 1955. Prior to retiring in 1985, he worked for the MTA for 30 years as a bus mechanic and was a loyal member of the Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority Union Local 100.
