Claire's Climb In Greenwich Benefits Fight Against ALS
GREENWICH, Conn. – Crowds of cyclists will swarm a half-mile hill on American Lane in Greenwich on Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon, completing grueling hill repeats, for Claire’s Climb, which benefits MAC Angels Foundation and ALS.
The benefit is named after Claire Gormley Collier, who died on May 4, 2009, from ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, when she was just 46. ‘Anne Of Green Gables’ Opens At Wcsu In Danbury
DANBURY, Conn. – Canada’s longest running musical, “Anne of Green Gables,” comes to the Western Connecticut State University stage in Danbury starting this week and running through Sunday, May 8.
Presented by Western’s Department of Theatre Arts, performances will be Friday, April 29, Saturday, April 30 and Saturday, May 7 at 8 p.m.; and Saturday, April 30, Sunday, May 1, Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 at 2 p.m., in the Mainstage Theatre of the Visual and Performing Arts Center (VPAC) on the university’s Westside campus.

Wilton Library Showcases Works By Connecticut Composers
WILTON, Conn. – Wilton Library’s Connecticut’s Own concert season ends on a high note on Sunday, May 1, from 5-6 p.m. with compositions from the Connecticut Composers, Inc. (CCI) in the library’s Brubeck Room.
Sunday’s concert highlights the works of six composer-members – Elizabeth Austin, Allen Brings, Juliana Hall, Daniel Morel, Margaret Collins Stoop and Nancy Tucker.
