Carmella Maiorana, 95, Cliffside Park Resident
CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. – Carmella Maiorana, of Cliffside Park, died Tuesday, Jan. 12. She was 95.
She was born Nov. 9, 1920, in West New York, and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Maiorana.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Grace Sutera, Madeline Curci and Ann Davino.

Dimitrios Koukoulogiannis, 84, Stamford Resident
STAMFORD, Conn. – Dimitrios "Taki" Koukoulogiannis, of Stamford, brother, uncle and friend, died Friday, Jan. 8. He was 84.
He was born in Litochoro, Greece, on May 17, 1931, and was the oldest of five children born to the late Perikles and Stamatia Koukoulogiannis.
He was a merchant marine in Greece for more than 30 years before he moved to Stamford in 1973. He worked at Pitney Bowes as a machinist until he retired in 1995. He loved to fish and spend time with his friends at the Stamford Hellenic Center.

Leonia Players Guild Presents Free 'Something Opens Our Wings' Workshop
LEONIA, N.J. – The Leonia Players Guild will host a free workshop performance Thursday following its 8 p.m. guild meeting in the Civil War Drill Hall Theater.
The workshop, “Something Opens Our Wings,” will be a multimedia presentation centered around birds, created, directed and choreographed by Alison Miller. James J. Sullivan, 61, Of Pleasantville
PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – James J. Sullivan, of Pleasantville died Sunday, Jan. 10. He was 61.
Born and raised in the Bronx, he spent his entire career with JP Morgan Chase. As a longtime resident of Pleasantville and an avid golfer, he was an active member of the Pleasantville Country Club.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Judy; his daughter, Kathryn, and her husband, Billy Hildbold.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday from 6-9 p.m. at Unique Affairs at the Pleasantville Country Club, 110 Nannahagan Road.

Frances Paulsen, 94, Stamford Resident
STAMFORD, Conn. – Frances Borgia Paulsen, a longtime Stamford resident, died Friday, Jan. 8.
She worked as an registered nurse with St. Joseph's Hospital and Eagle Towers in Stamford. She grew up on a farm in Springfield, Ky., and was the middle child of 11.
She enjoyed crafts, decorating, music and walking. Her proudest times were when she traveled overseas to Saudi Arabia where she worked as a nurse and met her husband.
She is survived by one daughter, Paula of Arlington, Va.; and one son, John and his wife, Ann–Britt of Park Ridge, N.J.; two grandchildren, Cristina and Victoria Paulse…
