Noted Geriatric Specialist Speaks At Palisades Rotary Meeting
RIDGEFIELD, N.J. – Elizabeth Davis, executive director of Geriatric Services, Inc. (GSI), will speak at the next meeting of the Rotary Club of The Palisades Friday from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the Gotham City Diner, 550 Bergen Blvd., Ridgefield.
Davis took over the management of Bright Side Manor in Teaneck. She was able to secure funding and will soon open another 62 unit subsidized senior apartment building at 60 Bergen Ave., Teaneck.

James D. Greenhalgh, 67, Pelham Resident
PELHAM, N.Y. – Pelham resident James Dieter Greenhalgh died Sunday, Jan. 10. He was 67.
A native of Wisconsin, he was born Feb. 17, 1948, to John and Dorothy (Dieter) Greenhalgh.
He received a bachelor’s degree in American history from Yale in 1970. In 1973, he received his law degree from New York University Law School.
He began his law career at Hart and Hume, and later at Jones, Hirsch & Bull. After retiring as assistant general counsel at JPMorgan Chase, he went on to become special counsel to Windels, Marx, Lane & Mittendorf, LLP.

Santino Crifo, 85, Hopewell Junction Resident
HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y. – Santino Crifo, of Hopewell Junction, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, at Venice Regional Hospital, in Venice, Fla. He was 85.
He was born May 5, 1930, in New York City, to Joseph and Carmela Crifo.
Crifo was a union metal lather for Local 46 and a skilled carpenter. He enjoyed going to the movies, listening to music, watching horse racing and spending time in Florida.

Beatrice R. Oehl, 85, Pleasantville Resident
PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Beatrice "Bea" Reilly Oehl, a longtime Pleasantville resident, died Sunday, Dec. 20, in Austin, Texas. She was 85.
She was born June 1, 1930, to Edward J. and Beatrice McGuire Reilly.
She lived in Pleasantville for more than 50 years and worked in the Mount Pleasant Library from 1977 until her retirement.
A regular communicant at Holy Innocents Church, she was involved in serving others through her parish and the senior center.

Dr. Robert J. Mazzara, 93, Former Oradell Resident
ORADELL, N.J. – Dr. Robert J. Mazzara, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., formerly of Oradell and Wyckoff, died Monday, Jan. 11. He was 93.
He was born in Queens and lived and practiced dentistry in Oradell for many years, before moving to Wyckoff and Florida. He attended Xavier High School in New York City, went to Fordham University and then to Georgetown Dental School. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a commissioned naval officer in the Korean War.

Raymond Charles Gramkow, River Edge Resident
RIVER EDGE, N.J. – Raymond Charles Gramkow, a longtime resident of River Edge, and formerly of Weehawken, died Tuesday, Jan. 12.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, 1st Marine Division, during the Korean War from 1951-1954.
A certified public accountant, he was the founding partner of Gramkow, Carnevale, Seifert & Co. in Oradell, and a professor emeritus at Ramapo College of New Jersey.
