Henderson B. Coleman, 88, Wappingers Falls Resident
WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. – Henderson B. Coleman, who most recently resided at Castle Point VA Hospital in Wappingers Falls, died Tuesday, March 8. He was 87.
Called “Henny” by family and friends, he was born on March 15, 1928, to Harry and Almeta Coleman, in the hamlet of Salt Point, N.Y.
He attended FDR High School where he excelled in sports and received many accolades, including an induction into the FDR Hall of Fame in June of 1999, and received commendation from U.S. Sen. STAMFORD, Conn. – Virginia Kramer Rogers of Stamford died Thursday, March 3. She was 89.
She was born March 24, 1926, in Stamford, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Swan) Kramer. She was the wife of the late Arthur Rogers.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice Frassetto and Louise Rogers Carpenter; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her brother, Charles Kramer.
She was predeceased by two sons, Richard Rogers and Robert "Wilt" Rogers; and three sisters, Anna May Warnke, Elizabeth Muzzio and Anita Anderson.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Florence T. DiVasto, wife of the late Joseph Paul DiVasto, of Stamford, died Wednesday, March 9 at Norwalk Hospital. She was 90.
She was born March 5, 1926, in Greenwich. She was the daughter of the late Philomenia and Patsy Figliola.
She attended Greenwich High School and moved to Stamford when she got married. She was a very active mother and grandmother. She worked later on in her life as a caretaker for young children, including her granddaughter.

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Joan Marie Drake, a Peekskill native, died Sunday, Feb. 28. She was 85.
She retired from MetLife, where she was employed as a secretary. She was a member of Shrub Oak United Methodist Church, where she attended for many years and had a special love for her church friends. She also loved to be with her family and friends, and she enjoyed reading and playing cards.

MILLBROOK, N.Y. – Marilyn J. McDowell, of Millbrook, died Monday, March 7. She was 72.
She was born at Vassar Brothers Hospital on Feb. 8, 1944, to George and Eleanor McLain.
She graduated from Staatsburg Union School in Hyde Park and was later employed by Feldman Jacobson Abstract for 42 years.
