RHINEBECK, N.Y. – Sister Marion McGillicuddy, formerly of Rhinebeck, died Sunday, March 6, in Wilmington, N.C. She was 90.
Born Marion Frances Clare McGillicuddy in New York City on March 24, 1925, to the late Jeremiah and Nora O'Sullivan McGillicuddy, she entered the Society of St. Ursula on Sept. 13, 1942, and made permanent vows on Dec. 29, 1949. She taught in New York City; Kingston; Providence, R.I.; Milwaukee; Fishkill; and Rome, Italy, and did parish ministry in Wallace and Wilmington, N.C. Born March 8, 1939, in the Bronx, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Antoinette (Jedlicka) Schiffer. She was a graduate of Westchester Community College with a degree in computer science. She was a communicant of St. Christopher’s Church in Red Hook.

HYDE PARK, N.Y. – Diane Clare Lobb-Boyce, died Monday, March 7. She was 71.
She was born Nov. 8, 1944, at her grandparents' home on South Cross Road, Staatsburg.
She enjoyed a lifelong interest in her family's genealogy, and was a direct descendant of several Mayflower passengers.
She was a lifelong Episcopalian. Raised in Saint James' Episcopal Church in Hyde Park, she was a lay minister, former Sunday School teacher, member of the vestry and youth group leader at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Staatsburg and, most recently, a member of Christ Church Episcopal in Hudson.

She was the wife of Gennaro Ranu; mother of John Ranu and his wife, Diana; grandmother of Mia and J.C. Ranu; aunt of John Cennarazzo, Kristina R. Hardigan, R.J. Hardigan and Felice Fiumigino and his wife, Maria Grazie, of Italy.

WALLINGTON, N.J. – Steven Costic, a lifetime resident of Wallington, died Thursday, March 10. He was 95.
Prior to his retirement in 1985, he and his late wife, Josephine, owned and operated Wally's Tavern in Passaic for seven years. Previously, he was a bartender for the Crows Nest, Cameo, Wortendyk Inn and Steins Cafe. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force and served during World War II. He earned the American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct and Victory Medals and was a member of the Wallington V.F.W. Pavlick Koster Post 2640.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Leonard "Kipp" Dedrick-Kipping, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, March 8. He was 62.
He was born Dec. 18, 1953, in Hattiesburg, Miss., to Sarah and Victor Kipping.
After moving with his family to Bridgeport, he graduated from Warren Harding High School in 1970 and then served in the U.S. Army, from which he was honorably discharged. He was employed through various jobs during his life. He enjoyed writing poetry and was an artist. He also enjoyed reading, and spending time with his wife, family and friends.
