Wayne School Board Sticks With Half-Day Kindergarten WAYNE, N.J. – The Wayne Township Board of Education has formally decided that there will not be a full-day kindergarten program for the 2016-17 school year in Wayne Township Public Schools. All registered incoming kindergarten students are confirmed for a half-day kindergarten program. Paramus Students Learn Math While Filling Their Easter Baskets PARAMUS, N.J. – Visitation Academy kindergarten students enjoyed learning math while filling up their Easter baskets Wednesday. The program started with the Jelly Bean Prayer read by a student. Then, the students tackled seven centers of math activities, including a station to add bears, building a tower with fractions, a time check station, graphing and a section of geometric shapes with pegs. Once the center was completed, the students took two scoops of jelly beans, eggs and peeps to fill their Easter baskets.
