HYDE PARK, N.J. – Carey Lynn Sherow, a resident of Hyde Park, died Monday, March 21, at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie. She was 32.
Daughter of Josephine Ingels Sherow of Hyde Park and the late Thomas Sherow Sr., she was born Sept. 23, 1983, in Poughkeepsie. She attended Hyde Park Schools. She was a parishioner of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Poughkeepsie. She enjoyed watching television and was an avid wrestling fan. She liked arts and spent some of her free time coloring. TAPPAN, N.Y. – Susan C. Niero, a resident of Tappan for over 60 years, died Tuesday, March 15. She was 80.
She was born in the Bronx to Genero and Alice Cicalese on Dec. 31, 1935. Before retiring in 2001, she was a group home supervisor for the Cardinal McCluskey Group Home in West Nyack for over 30 years. She was a life member and past treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Tappan Volunteer Fire Association and a parishioner of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan.
