Joseph Steven Buttacavoli, 82, Yonkers Resident YONKERS, N.Y. – Joseph S. Buttacavoli, of Yonkers, died Saturday, March 30 at Calvary Hospital. He was 82. He attended Iona College and completed his graduate work at Fordham University.  He worked in business before becoming a teacher. He taught social studies at Yonkers High School and then helped found an alternative school called Yonkers Prep High School. He taught there for 14 years. He finished his teaching career as a human relations facilitator. Pauline Mouyios, 85, Yonkers Resident YONKERS, N.Y. – Pauline G. Mouyios, of Yonkers, died Monday, April 4. She was 85. She was born in Alexandroupolis, Greece, on March 23, 1931. She came to the U. S. with her family as a young girl and settled in Yonkers. She was an active member of the Greek Orthodox Church of Prophet Elias, where she met and married George P. Mouyios.  They had three children, Diane (Mouyios) Soukas, Peter G. Mouyios and Joane (Mouyios) Perkins.  She was grandmother to George and Alexander Mouyios and Nicholas and Alexandra Soukas.
