BERGENFIELD, N.J. – Anselmo S. Lacap, of Bergenfield, died Saturday, April 2. He was 74.
He was the husband of Juanita Lacap; father of Jeanette, Anselito, Ann Karen, Anne Chastity and the late Allan; brother of Beatrice, Ofelia, Angelita, Consolador, Elipidio and Marino; and grandfather of A.J., Jeromy, Kyle, Alyssa, E.J., Audrey, Devin, Morgan and Madison.
Visiting will take place from 5-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Saturday for the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist…

DUMONT, N.J. – Dorothy V. (Clement) Williams, of Dumont, died Saturday, April 2. She was 92.
She was born in New York and was a nurse’s aide at St. Luke’s Hospital, New York City, and a homemaker.
She was the mother of Antoinette Williams-Powell and her husband, Eugene.
She was predeceased by her husband, Reginal E. Williams.
Visitation will take place Thursday, April 7, from 4-8 p.m. at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Dumont.

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. – Mildred (Garramone) Dachille, of Cliffside Park, died Sunday, April 3. She was 93.
She was born in North Bergen and before she retired worked at W.F. Bruce in West New York. She was the wife of the late Joseph, who preceded her in death in 2008.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

DUMONT, N.J. – Mae (Kennedy) Kavanagh, of Dumont, died Monday, March 28. She was 71.
She was born in Tubrid, County Kilkenny, Ireland, to the late Ellen (Kealy) and John Kennedy and immigrated to the United States in 1962, settling in the Bronx, N.Y., prior to relocating to Dumont. She was employed as a child care professional for more than 40 years at ECCS Child Care of Norwood.

Celso Hernandez, 89, Yonkers Resident
YONKERS, N.Y. – Celso Hernandez of Yonkers died Sunday, April 3. He was 89.
He was born Feb. 8, 1927, in Puerto Rico, where he was raised and educated. He came to America at age 18. He was a chef at the Parker-Meridian Hotel in New York City for over 40 years and retired in 1994. On Sept. 1, 1951, he married Carmen Pizarro in St. Joseph's Church in the Bronx. She preceded him in death in 2006. He belonged to Local 6 of the hotel and restaurant union in New York City.
