Joan Eileen Aiello, 71, Pearl River Resident
PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – Joan Eileen Aiello, a resident of Pearl River for 46 years, died Wednesday, April 6, at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, N.J. She was 71.
She was born April 9, 1944, in the Bronx, to John and Mary (Ryan) Timmons. She was a graduate of Our Savior Elementary School in 1957 and a 1961 graduate of Walton High School. On Aug. 20, 1966, she married Francis J. Aiello at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in the Bronx. Locally, she was a member of the Shady Ladies at the Nauraushaun Swim Club.

Donald M. Salmon, 58, Clinton Resident
CLINTON, N.Y. – Donald M. Salmon, of Clinton, died Thursday, March 31 at the Health Alliance Hospital, Kingston. He was 58.
He had been a resident of the N.E. Center for Special Care in Lake Katrine. He was born Jan. 27, 1958, in Brewster, the son of Donald Salmon and Carol Brace Devine. He was self-employed as a licensed land surveyor.
He is survived by his mother, a brother, a sister, his wife and three children and several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours or service at his request.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Delehanty Funeral Home, Wappingers Falls.
John Thomas Heady, 31, Former Poughkeepsie Resident
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – John Thomas Heady, formerly of Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, April 5. He was 31.
He was born Dec. 18, 1985, to Lisa Wortman in Poughkeepsie. He attended Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, after which he worked as a chimney installer until moving to South Carolina a year ago. He took pride in his work and advanced quickly to an assistant manager position with Food Lion. His most treasured time was spent interacting with family and friends. He had a passion for billiards, listening to country music, golf and basketball.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Ronald J. Cacciola, of Fairfield, formerly of Redding, died Wednesday, April 6. He was 72.
He was born in Bridgeport to Patrick and Genevieve (Connors) Cacciola and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was an interior designer for more than 40 years and owned his own business, Ron Cacciola Interior Planners, in Westport.

Alice M. Arnold, 84, Yorktown Heights Resident
YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Alice M. Arnold, longtime resident of Yorktown Heights, died Tuesday, April 5. She was 84.
She was born Dec. 12, 1931, in New York City, to Joseph and Anna Cushing.
She and her husband married in 1954, and shortly thereafter moved to a variety of places with the U.S. Army.
They lived in Austin, Texas; Fort Sill, Okla., Fort Knox, Ky., and eventually spent two years stationed in Germany. They moved to Yorktown in 1961.
She worked in retail sales, accounting and office management at Grants, Caldor's, LLoyds and Kmart.
