TV Show 'Cops" Filming In Paterson PATERSON, N.J. – The TV show “Cops” plans to film in Paterson for 10 weeks starting at the end of July, reports NorthJersey.com. Some city officials are worried the filming will tarnish the city’s image, but Paterson Police Director Jerry Speziale stated officials would be able to preview footage and remove questionable scenes before airing, according to NorthJersey.com.
