A woman in Westport was charged for allegedly throwing items in an argument, including a knife, curtain rod, and pot of grits, according to Westport Police.
On Sunday, Aug. 25 at approximately 12:45 a.m., officers responded to a home on a report of a loud disturbance, police said.
When they arrived officers learned of an argument between two people in the home, which ultimately moved outside as it escalated, according to police.

Janneth Batyr Of Huntington Station Dies At 30
Janneth Bagas Batyr, of Huntington Station, died on Sunday, Aug. 25, at age 30.
She was the wife of Mark, daughter of Lolito Bagas and Maria Luz Capito; daughter-in-law and best friend to Kenneth Batyr; sister to Jojo, Jill, Jason, Jean-Paul, and Ella Luz.
She was a "shining star" for Johnny, Reina, Chris, and Alex as well as an aunt and friend to so many. Of Waray-Waray (Philippines) descent, Batyr is being remembered as "blessed with the heart, humility, and strength of a warrior," the obituary said.

Duo Charged In Connection With Fatal Overdose In Nassau County
Two men face charges connected with the overdose death of a Nassau County man, according to police.
An investigation into the death of the male victim on Friday, Aug. 23 in a Woodmere residence led to the arrest of Piero Russotto, 46, and Alexandro D’Angelo, 55, both of Ridgewood, Queens, Nassau County Police said.
Detectives reportedly arranged to meet D’Angelo at a Queens location and placed him under arrest on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 4 p.m., said police.

A childcare counselor in Westchester, Patrick Christopher Federice, of Pelham, died Monday, Aug. 26, at age 37.
Born Feb. 24, 1982, in New Rochelle Hospital to William and Margaret, Federice was one of four children.
He was raised in Pelham where he attended Hutchinson School before graduating from Pelham Memorial High School in 2000.
Federice obtained an associate's degree in business from Westchester Community College and continued his education at Concordia College.

Formerly of Northern Westchester, Elizabeth A. Taylor, of Ansonia, Connecticut, died suddenly and tragically on Saturday, Aug. 24, at age 34.
She was born in Mount Kisco on Jan. 26, 1985.
Taylor worked for Friendly's, both in New York and Connecticut.
