Update: Child Riding Bike Crashes Into Ambulance In Montgomery County, Police Say A child riding a bike was injured after crashing into an ambulance in Montgomery County on Friday, March 18, authorities confirmed. An ambulance heading to a 911 call said the 12-year-old bicyclist "entered the road unsafely," and struck the passenger side of the vehicle in the 4000 block of West Skippack Pike in Skippack Township around 3:30 p.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police. The boy -- who was not wearing a helmet -- was taken by a nearby EMS company to a local hospital for treatment of suspected broken bones and head trauma, police said. ID Of Driver Killed In Wrong-Way Route 222 Crash Released: Report An 82-year-old driver was killed in a wrong-way crash on Route 222 in Wyomissing (Berks County), WFMZ reports. Matthew Rourke, of Lenhartsville, was driving in the opposite direction of traffic in the northbound lanes of the highway when he struck a car, causing it to hit a third car around 10 p.m., the outlet says citing local police. Rourke was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other drivers were taken to Reading Hospital for treatment, according to the outlet. The cause of the crash was not immediately known. 1 Dead, 1 Hospitalized In West Brandywine House Fire: Report One person died and another was hospitalized in unknown condition after a fire broke out at a home early Friday, March 18 in West Brandywine, Daily Local reports. Firefighters arrived to find smoke and fire spreading through the roof and were told one resident was still inside the mobile home on Maplewood Drive, the outlet reports. PA Teacher Who Kissed Underage Student Gets Jail Time A 55-year-old Pennsylvania teacher who kissed an underage student and her genitals over her clothes was sentenced to six to 23 months in prison on a child endangerment charge, authorities said.
