Dover Man Charged In Burglary DOVER, N.Y. – A Dover man was charged Friday with three counts of burglary, according to New York State Police. Michael C. Green, 24, was charged with burglarizing one home on two separate dates, in addition to a neighboring home in the Powell Trailer Park, according to the report. Green was arraigned before the Dover Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear in the Dover Justice Court on Monday, Jan. 11, officials say.

Putnam Valley High School National Honor Society Organizes Toy Drive PUTNAM VALLEY, N.Y. – In the spirit of the holiday season, the Putnam Valley High School Chapter of the National Honor Society hosted a toy drive for the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla. Honor Society members held two bake sales raised more than $200 to purchase gifts for the children, and generously donated 11 boxes of newly purchased toys.  On Dec. 14, members traveled to the hospital to meet the director and deliver the toys to the children.
