DANBURY, Conn. – Twenty-three local youth were honored for their service with Youth Volunteer Corps of Western Connecticut, a program of United Way of Western Connecticut. The youth earned the President’s Volunteer Service Award for serving 50 or more hours at local nonprofits and community agencies in the greater Danbury area. Rye Assemblyman Sponsors New State Law To Help ID Missing, Dead Persons
RYE, N.Y. – Law enforcement agencies seeking to resolve cold cases and family members dealing with the heartbreak of a missing loved one got an important boost from legislation signed into law by Gov. Andrew Cuomo. The new law, which was sponsored by Assemblyman Steve Otis (D-Rye) and State Sen. BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The Bedford Fire Department parade will take place at 7 p.m. Friday.Residents are reminded there will be numerous road closures and detours along routes 172 and 22.
