Darien's Opus Announces New Board, Fundraising Totals
DARIEN, Conn. – Opus for Person-to- Person, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, announced the 25 women selected for its 2016-2017 Board of Directors, along with its fundraising numbers for Person-to- Person. Since 1996, Opus has raised nearly $3.5 million for Person- to-Person as its only fundraising and awareness arm. This past year alone, Opus raised more than $363,000 for Person-to- Person’s critical programs and services, as well as to fund camp scholarships for children who would not otherwise have the opportunity.
