Thomas F. Kent, 55, Beacon Resident
BEACON, N.Y. – Thomas F. Kent, a lifelong resident of Beacon, died Thursday, June 30, at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh. He was 55.
He was born in Cold Spring on Sept. 30, 1960, to Thomas and Antoinette Marino Kent.
He is survived by his cousins, Sue Cushing, Judy Lewis, Kent Glanville, Frances Marino and Billy Kent.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Joachim Church, 51 Leonard St., Beacon. Burial of ashes will follow at St. Joachim Cemetery.

Nancy Ann Scaccia-Ralf, 65, Poughkeepsie Native
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Nancy Ann Scaccia-Ralf, of Luray, Tenn., formerly of Poughkeepsie, died Wednesday, June 29. She was 65.
She was born April 4, 1951, in Poughkeepsie, to Albert J. and Gertrude McKeown Scaccia. She graduated from Arlington High School. She worked as a technician for IBM, East Fishkill, until her retirement in 1990. She enjoyed cross-stitching, gardening, going to yard sales and shopping and collecting antiques.
She is survived by her husband, Jan K. Ralf, of Luray, Tenn.; a daughter, Erika J. Ralf of Luray; and a brother, Al Scaccia, of Melbourne, Fla.

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – Hydrant flushing in certain parts of Briarcliff will continue until Friday afternoon, according to Village Manager Philip Zegarelli’s latest report.
