Wanted: Man, Woman Stole $4.4K Worth Of Items From East Islip CVS, Police Say
Police are asking the public's help to identify and locate two people who allegedly stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from CVS in East Islip.
A man and woman stole $4,467 worth of cosmetics from CVS, located at 15 West Main St., on Tuesday, July 2 at approximately 1 p.m., according to Suffolk County Police.
The woman was described as Hispanic, between 20 and 30-years-old with a light complexion and a medium build. The man was described as black, between 20 and 30 years old with a medium, muscular build, said police.

A 71-year-old Manhasset man who went missing in late July has been found.
Raymond Bell, who was last seen leaving his home on foot on Sunday, July 28 at 7 a.m., was located, Nassau County Police announced on Wednesday, Aug. 7.

Richard Liebson, a longtime journalist in Westchester, died Sunday, in White Plains at age 61, according to The Journal News/lohud.com, where he worked for decades.
Liebson had cancer for about two years, according to the article.

A longtime Stamford resident who is being remembered as a dog whisper, devoted mother and friend, Jane Treichler Howard-Johnson died Thursday, July 25 in Stamford, at age 60.
She was born on July 22, 1959, in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, to Glen DeForest Treichler and Elizabeth Burke Treichler.
She was a 34-year resident of Stamford.
Howard-Johnson met her husband Peter at Bucknell University, where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. Following graduation, they married and were married for 35 years.
