PA K9 Officer Dies After Suffering Brain Injury Caused By Bee Sting A police officer from suburban Philadelphia who suffered a brain injury caused by a bee sting last year has died, his department announced. Hatboro K9 handler and dad of two Ryan Allen went into cardiac arrest on Oct. 14, 2021, after suffering anaphylactic shock from a bee sting, "with no prior history of a bee allergy," his wife, Whitney Allen, wrote on a GoFundMe page. Airborne Tire Kills Driver On I-95 In Philadelphia: Report A driver was killed when a tire from a pickup truck blew out on I-95 in Philadelphia early Friday, and smashed into his windshield, 6abc reports. The airborne tire came off a southbound pickup truck around 12:30 a.m. between Front and Broad Streets, the outlet says.
